STD Retail Solutions , the creators of SPEDI software, are a specialist team of developers devoted to the convenience store and related sectors. We have unrivalled experience, having been writing software in this sector for over 25 years. Our software is supplied through resellers or direct to retailers and has been installed in over 1,000 stores across Britain - though very often under another name given by the reseller or retailer.

Since 1998 the company has focussed solely on developing software for the convenience and news sector. Our strength is a team of developers who have long experience in this field. We are a stable and dedicated team, unlike other companies where teams of programmers come and go without having time to understand the real problems of the sector.

Having chosen our objective, we are determined to remain the ‘best of breed’, and to ensure that our software is enhanced so that users will continue to have the best available product and be able to take advantage of developments as the computer world moves onwards.

STD Retail Solutions Limited is independent and financially stable. All the shareholders work full time for the company. We do not employ salesmen and we do not have any debt. This enables us to take a long term view and we never withdraw support for a product that has a current user. We still support software products written over 15 years ago, and although we may point out that we have better products available now, we shall support these products until the users themselves decide that they want to move on.
