Having been in the business since 1983, he moved from Spar to Londis in 1991 because of Londis Scan, the pioneering EPoS system created by SPEDI Software for Londis members. He has since upgraded to our latest system, Londis Manager. "It gives me a fantastic advantage," he says, "and it paid for itself within 6 months! It means I can delegate aspects of my business to my staff, but still keep an eye on the day-to-day running." One of his favourite features is the Summary Stock Movement (SSM) report. Describing it as a very powerful tool, he finds that it "pinpoints the categories where I am making and losing most money, as well as wastage."
